Following on from our fantastic fun day in May, we’ll have another great family event on Bank Holiday Sunday…with the bonus of an extra day to get over the effects.
The daytime fun will last from 1 to 6pm and we’ll again have all the traditional favourite stalls and amusements for the kids, followed by (very!) old favourites, Highly Likely, to keep us entertained with live music and banter from 7pm.
Should be a great day and night, and we’re proud that all proceeds will go the Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice (download our poster for more information).
Talking about good causes, a quick mention for the Fleet Lions’ beer-fest that’s taking place in the Ancells Farm Community Centre, just 100 yards or so from the pub, on Saturday 14th – see http://www.fleetlions.org.uk/fundraising/beerfest.html. We’ll be serving our full menu from 12 noon to 7pm on that day for those lily-livered lightweights who need to pop along for food to wash down their copious amounts of real ale! |
